Some pics of Kirsty, Stuart and Fiona when they stayed on Capella whilst attending a "Splash Course" at Port Edgar.

Port Edgar's Splash courses are literally that. The week is spent on or mostly in the sea, sailing , making rafts from old oil drums and wood, canoeing then sailing off to nearby beaches for picnics. Most days finish with everybody, including the instructors, leaping from the main jetty into the water, not for me but great fun is had by all and in amongst the fun the youngsters learn to treat then sea with respect but not to fear it.
During this weeks event my granddaughter Kirsty asked if she could have her friend Fiona to stay over on Capella. As I was doing chauffeur duties for the week grandson Stuart and I decided to stay as well---"but not with the girls,Ugh" said Stuart.
With friend Guthrie's permission, Stuart and I bedded down on 'Stark Ravin' a Sigma 38 that Guthrie uses to run cruising courses.
Once settled in we went to Frankie and Bennies up the hill for a meal.
.With piles of wet clothing and wetsuits to sort out for the next day I was kept busy while the youngsters had a 'carry on' with some other children also staying on grandparents boats. Much screaming from the girls as various jellyfish and assorted sea creatures were caught in nets and bandied about. As a beautifull sunset ended the day we all got our heads down, the youngsters tired after all their activities.
The next morning was bright and sunny and by the time I came back from the showers K,F and S were up and demanding breakfast before another day of sea fun.
